Coffee in the cold?

Do you guys use the expression “coffee in the cold”?

The scene goes like this: Two FBI agents found the murder but decided to let her go for now. They say, “Coffee in the cold.” Maybe I heard wrong.

I've never heard of it, and I can't find any evidence on Google search that there is any such expression. All the hits for "coffee in the cold" seem to be literal. I suspect you misheard something.

From the show "Imposters"? I was thinking the same thing.

It was a reference to what she said in the previous episode, when she was talking aboute Pop-eye Doyle from 'French Connection', she said ''So, now we're Popeye Doyle, waitin’ in the cold,
drinkin’ coffee".
