The bar chart depicts the results of a questionnaire about people’s coffee and tea purchasing and consuming habits in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.
Overall, buying instant coffee is the majority in Adelaide, while the Australian in other cities spend time in coffee shops for coffee or tea. Furthermore, fresh coffee is the least popular, but Sydney experiences the highest proportion of people who buy original coffee.
We can see that there is above 55% of Brisbane citizens who go to cafés, and a little three fifths of the Australian in Hobart and Sydney also spend time in coffee shops for drinking coffee or tea. The highest figure for this is a little under 65% in Melbourne, and the lowest one is around a half in Adelaide.
The highest figure for citizens purchasing fresh coffee is in Sydney, which also sees the lowest proportion of those buying instant coffee. Hobart occupies about 54% - the highest percentage of the Australian that spend their money on instant coffee. Brisbane experiences the lowest number of people purchasing fresh coffee - a little under 35%.
