Coddle a lot

- Brian loves Lucy very much and he also coddles her a lot. But his only bad habit is always late for his dates with Lucy. He doesn't pay attention to this bad habit at all because Lucy never shows angry or tense attitude whenever he comes late. He takes advantage of this and still comes to the dating place unpunctually and doesn't have the intention to change this bad habit.

- Are these sentences natural?

Brian coddles Lucy a lot because he loves her. But he does have one thoughtless habit: he always arrives late for their dates. Lucy, however, never seems angry or even upset. So Brian has no intention of being more punctual in the future.
