Cocoa tree

A glance at the given diagrams illustrates the process of making chocolate from cocoa. Overall, it is obvious that there are ten prominent stages in this process: ripe red pods on a cacao tree and culminating with chocolate products.

In the beginning, cocoa comes from cacao trees grown in South America, Africa, Indonesia. When the pods are ripe and red, they are harvested and white cocoa beans are removed. These beans are used to be fermented. Subsequently, people spread them in sun to dry them. Next, they are put in large sacks and transported by train or lorry to take to the factory. They are roasted at 350C. The next step is that beans are crushed and eliminated outer shell. Coming to the final stage of the process, the inner part that is left is pressed and the chocolate is produced.
