"Closed down" is natural for having gone out of business.Also used is, 'shut down', 'shuttered' and 'boarded up'.
"Closed" is natural for ending the business day.
"Closed shop" is natural for ending the business day or closing for a short period of days, like a holiday, inventory, etc.
