Dear Teachers,

1. - Reluctant is unhappy.

- Slow but steady.

- Are these proverbs correct?

2. - He fixes / repairs wacthes and clocks.

- He's a clocks and watches repairman.

- Are these natural?

2. Slow but steady is ok in British English.

3. He repairs watches and clocks sounds ok.

He's a clocks and watches repairman. This doesn't sound right as it is a sort of job description. possibly he is a clock repairer? Or restorer might be a better word. Of course, as Barbara points out, horologist is the official word but most people wouldn't know
