Clinton's Pronunciation of 'Chameleon'

NPR had a clip of a 1992 debate between Clinton and then-president George Bush pere (and I guess Ross Perot too). I distinctly heard Bill Clinton call Bush a "chameleon" wherein Clinton pronounced "chameleon" with initial /S/ instead of initial /k/ ("sha-meleon").

Retrospective Oy!, Bill!

Or a schlemiel. Those are probably not part of Bill's normal vocab though.

Probably just wanted to dress up the name-calling from "sham" to "shameleon".
