Climb up someone?

I want to know if "climb up me" is grammatically correct?

The phrase is from the Brazilian novel called My Sweet Orange Tree. In the novel, the main chracter is a boy and a tree. And the tree says, "You wanna feel how soft I am? Climb up me."

In my country's forum, whether 'clime up me' is gramatically correct or not is now a big controversy. Some people says it should be "climb me up". But some says 'climb up me' is correct as the English translation version said so.

My opinion is that because we can't actually climb someone(like climbing trees) in real life, Both 'climb up me' and 'climb me up' is incorrect and it is just a poetic licence. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

But what made me confused is that when I googled it I could see some youtube titles "Trying to climb up me" and "Yes, you can climb up someone and flip them!". is it grammatically correct but rarely used because there's a better expression? If so, could you give me a better sentence?

Lastly, I want to know the best expression to describe the video I said above "Yes, you can climb up someone and flip them!". If you go to youtube and search it, you'll see a person put his legs over the other's neck to make him fall. But I don't know what the name of the technique is and how to describe it.

Thank you very much.

As an imperative statement, and with a dollop of poetic license, I don't see a problem with a tree telling a boy "climb up me." Emotion: wink

The problem is most people in that forum think 'climb me up' is correct. So I should tell them it's wrong.

It reminds me of the Stat Trek line "Beam me up Scottie."
However, that phrase was grammatical; this one isn't.
