Cleft sentence

Hello, 

I am not sure whether the three sentences make sense in term of grammar and semantics. 

Can you give me a hand with checking them

1. It is only when I was on the brink of falling my required subjects that I realized that it was about time to change my attitude toward studying hard.

2. It is in a group that people can collaborate with each other to manage to take any arduous task.

3. What a boss should possess is the high emotion quotient. A boss with high emotion quotient can know how to show his advantages of humbleness, politeness, kindness, and communication skills.
