Clearning beyond

Hey guys,

What does "clearning beyond" mean?

I know the sentence "So they waddled and quacked to the clearing beyond." means: "So they walked [like a duck] and [made the sound that ducks make] to the clearing beyond. "

But what it is?

Top answer

A clearing is an area that does not have trees, brush, or rocks. The land is easy to walk on because there is nothing on it. It could have grass.
