Vocabulary

clear/make a port

Hi,

I'd like to figure out which of the following expressions are common and which are not. If you could help?

(1) to arrive at the port of (Adan or whatever)
(2) to come into the port of
(3) to make the port of Aden

(4) to leave the home port (for another destination)
(5) to clear the home port (and set to somewhere else)

Please make necessary edits where necessary (unless the entire expression looks broken/meaningless to you).

Thank you so much!
