clauses

Could you please help me to break up the sentences below into clauses and identify the subjects and verbs?

1) The European Union is counter-suing the United States over defense contracts and tax breaks it regards as aid for Boeing.

2) The Financial Times reported that the financing package to be presented to the board included up to 4 billion euros in financing backed by France, Germany, Britain and Spain.

3) Anxious to spread the financing, EADS said the deal would bring new "risk-sharing partners" into Airbus, referring to deals that bring in outside investment in return for a share of the gains and in some cases a share of the workload and jobs

4) Airbus faces penalties to airlines and deferred revenues on the A380, and will lose its crown as the world's top-selling jet maker this year after Boeing took full advantage of its rival's hesitation over the A350 to hard-sell 787 Dreamliners.

3) (Anxious to spread the financing, EADS said) => main clause

(referring to deals that bring in outside investment in return for a share of the gains and in some cases a share of the workload and jobs) => adjective clause => modifying deal

4) (Airbus faces penalties to airlines and deferred revenues on the A380, and will lose its crown as the world's top-selling jet maker this year) => main clause
(after Boeing took full advantage of its rival's hesitation over the A350 to hard-sell 787 Dreamliners.) => adverb clause

Thanks!

My 2 cents worth of: Airbus faces penalties to airlines and deferred revenues on the A380 , and (they)will lose its crown as the world's top-selling jet maker this year after Boeing took full advantage of its rival's hesitation over the A350 to hard-sell 787 Dreamliners. two independent main clause with a coordinating conjunction: and. after is a conjunction word here, linking the temporal clause to the independent clause before.

  • two independent main clause with a coordinating conjunction: and.
  • after is a conjunction word here, linking the temporal clause to the independent clause before.
  • In addition, the temporal clause modifies the main verb in the second independent clause-- adverbial clause.
  • ------------------------------------------------------- Anxious to spread the financing, EADS said the deal would bring new "risk-sharing partners" into Airbus, referring to deals that bring in outside investment in return for a share of the gains and in some cases a share of the workload and jobs Anxious to spread the financing = modifies EADS -- adjectival phrase EADS said the deal would bring new "risk-sharing partners" into Airbus = main clause IMO, referring to deals that bring in outside investment in return for a share of the gains and in some cases a share of the workload and jobs risk-sharing partners.
