00In my opinion both sentences have object subordinate clauses.The difference is that main clauses:"I told you ";"It is inevitable" have different types of subjects-the second one has as a subject empty-expletive "it"02br

0[1] "I told you (that)" is the main clause and "that she would be on time" is a sub clause, and "that" is a sub clause connector. The sub clause has its own Nexus relation. That is, the subject in the sub is "she" and the predication is "would be on time". The sub clause works as an indirect object (in other term, a verbal complement) of the verb "told" in the main clause. 02br
