Clause in clause (not modifying a noun like relative clause)
Although just how much "aggressive questioning" is acceptabledepends onwhose country or family is at rist, and if 3000 people like the victims at World Trade Center in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001 were killed in a terrorist act in Madrid or Rome, you'd see the Spanish Inquisition come back in a hurry and Italian medieval torture cells dusted off and ready for opening again.
I found there are two clauses inserted in the dependent clause. I don't think I have seen clauses(not modifying a noun) inserted in a clause often.
Is this very technical writing or very specially written or just language itself?
