Is this sentence correct:

Is this sentence correct:


"At so few weeks and days from leaving office, who would have expected all this deplorable show?"

It looks OK to me. I think if I had written it, I would have omitted "at" and "weeks and" and "all".

So few days from leaving office, who would have expected this deplorable show?
