Clause

Hi, is it appropriate to use “who” in the below sentence? Does the clause interrupt the flow of sentence?

Set in the kingdom of Mahishmati, it follows the adventure of Baahubali, who has been announced as the next king of Mahishmati Kingdom by Queen mother Sivagami.

Top answer

anonymous Set in the kingdom of Mahishmati, it follows the adventure of Baahubali, who has been announced as the next king by Queen Mother Sivagami. 'Who' is fine; repeating the kingdom's name is not. I have corrected it above.
