Class wasn't happened

A student of mine asked me

Sir did you take the class at 9 am.

Now if I said one of these would it be correct?

Class wasn't held or happened or occurred at scheduled time, it is rescheduled at 7:30 pm.

Please suggest me any other version of this statement.

Say eg "No, it was rescheduled to 7:30 pm this evening."

Sir, did you teach take the class at 9 am?

Now if I said one of these would it be correct? As edited below, it's correct grammar, but not very natural.

The class wasn't held / didn't happen at the scheduled time. it was rescheduled tot 7:30 pm.
