Class activities

Hello

I need your suggestions.

I have a recording of a conversation which is part of a radio program exploring changes and trends in society. I also have the tapescript. I would like to develope this theme further into a language skills lesson for an upper-intermediate class. my lesson lasts for 90 minutes.

What suggestions can you make to ensure that the students get some practices in all four language skills using the conversation as the central theme of the lesson?

I do not need a full lesson plan; I just need some activities to exploit this material and develope this theme.

Thank you

Hi; It sounds like a good theme, and useful for exercising all the communication skills. For example: Listening - listen to a section of the tape. (Students can answer your prepared questions about it to test their comprehension) Reading - Students read the transcript of that section; find words they don't know and look for them in the dictionary.
