I have a sentence:My classes____ from Monday through Fridaya)take placeb) happenc) learnI'm in two minds between "learn" and "take place" here, anybody help?

I would go with a) However, for simplicity and factuality, I would say, "My classes are from Monday through / to Friday."

If the choices are only those three, we must chose what makes sense the most and I provided an alternative for the questioner to evaluate.

If I must use take place and rewrite the sentence, the following sentences are my choices:

My classes take place from today, December 1 to December 3.
or
My classes will take place from Monday, December 3 to Friday, December 7.

Of the choices given, only "take place" makes sense. As mentioned above, however, it is awkward. My guess is that the person who wrote the test example is not a native speaker.
