Class

I have a sentence:

My classes____ from Monday through Friday

a)take place

b) happen

c) learn

I'm in two minds between "learn" and "take place" here, anybody help?

I would go with a) However, for simplicity and factuality, I would say, "My classes are from Monday through / to Friday."

Others might have different opinions.

If the choices are only those three, we must chose what makes sense the most and I provided an alternative for the questioner to evaluate.

Of the choices given, only "take place" makes sense. As mentioned above, however, it is awkward. My guess is that the person who wrote the test example is not a native speaker.
