Clarity of Insstructions
Hi,
My staff are on spring break and they deserve a break and English is not my mother tongue. How does the following instructions on software installation sound to you?
Process A
After the software (for clarity, Knowledge NoteBook) is first installed it would display the following screen:
Make a payment of $39 to Email Removed via payPal and
send us an email at Email Removed with subject of the special code that is displayed on your screen, for instance, 12345.
In addition, please provide us with the following information if applicable: your city, state, university affiliation, referrer's full name. Why? Give credit to the one that is deserving.
Step 2
You'll receive an email with license code and instruction on how to activate your copy of the Knowledge NoteBook software within a few minutes to a few hours.
Note:
Send an email to Email Removed if you have any questions.
Process B
At step 2, after the user receives an email with license code and opens up the Knowledge NoteBook software from a desktop icon, the following screen would appear:
Two possible scenarios going on here.
Scenario A (You've just purchased the Knowledge NoteBook software)
You have just receieved license code and it has not been registered with the Knowledge NoteBook software yet. In this case please secukeey_buy.cfm?copyID=53017&keyRequest=1 to continue.
Scenario B (You've been using the Knowledge NoteBook software for a while)
A special machanism that is bound to the license of the Knowledge NoteBook software has been accidentally removed by some program in your computer. But please do not panic. Simply send us your special code (displayed on your screen, for instance, 12345) to Email Removed with Subject of Request for License Help. We'll help you to fix it.
