Clarification of previous anonymous post (It is just Bob and I/me)
Normally a bunch of us go out to lunch together, but today, there are only two people, Bob and me. Which would be more appropriate to say?
a) Today, it is just Bob and I.
or
b) Today, it is just Bob and me.
Normally, I would say the former because "Bob and I" should be the predicate nominative. But, I am wondering if "just Bob and me" could serve as an adverb phrase as well.
