Civil War , rights of blacks ... help :)

Well, tomorrow i'm going to write a test in school, about the civil rights movement in Amercia . The test will contain slavery, the civil war, the rights of black people at that time .

I wanna know whether someone knows some good essays about this topic. Some help would be great !

Yes, surely , we'll get a text , then we have to answer certain questions and include them in our essay.

And I would like to know whether someone already wrote an essay about this topic, or whether he knows a good essay. Because I want to get some more information , cause then it'll be way easier to write a good exam (:
