Citing a source with a mispelled word

What do I do if the source I am citing has a mispelled word?

You can do one of two things. You can use square brackets to show what the word was supposed to be. You can put "sic" in parentheses after the misspelled word.

(PS: Ironic, isn't it, that misspelled is so frequently misspelled?)
