Hi,
Would anyone please answer me the following questions in the context of The Simpsons- Amercian cartoon?
1. What does "safe word" mean?
2. Why did Demon keep saying Cinnamon? I knew what Cinnamon refers to at its face value, but is there any connotation behind it?
Many thanks!
Context:
Homer made a deal with demon for three-way- demon, demon, and Homer. The three were in the bed.
Homer: Now, before we start, what's the safe word?
Demon: Cinnamon
Homer: I like that. Now, I'd like to try something new, if you don't mind.
Demon: Cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon...
It seems to be implying that the demon (or Demon) misunderstood what Homer meant. iclearwater Now, I'd like to try something new, if you don't mind. The demon thought that Homer meant "I'd like to try a new/different word", so the demon insisted on the original.
