The purpose of my motivation letter is to introduce myself and my intention why I would like to complete this traineeship .................

My name is ....... I’m a twenty-four years old Hungarian, presently student in International Business Programme of Master studies at . During this education I’m focusing to acquire a deep and comprehensive knowledge in international finance, international business, and international economics, and moreover to develop my skills of logical and analytical thinking.

Regarding my previous qualification I graduated in economics and international communication programme at in 2007. As I have long-term interest in EU’s activities I completed a further faculty in EU-economics in my last year at the college. Thanks to this course I have got familiar with the European integration process, the European common policies, the European institutions, as well as with the European enlargement process. This last one has greatly aroused my interest that’s why I have decided to write my dissertation on ’s accession chances to the European Union. My research intended to prove that ’s foreign policy in its region could positively contribute to the European Neighbourhood Policy, to the European energy security, and also to the European Foreign Security and Defence Policy. I have enjoyed my research work while I have obtained a good understanding about possible advantages and disadvantages of enlargement as well as about challenges, which have to be faced by both parties. The traineeship within your .....would allow me to enhance and broaden this knowledge while I would like to become a very useful member of your team.

Concerning my language skills I have been improving my German and English during my studies at the college, furthermore I have also started to learn an additional, third EU-language, French. In order to master this language I have studied one year long in in French at University Paris 13 within the foreign exchange programme, Erasmus. What’s more I’m a very keen Italian learner for one year as languages are one of my big passions. That’s reason for I would like to work in a multilingual environment like the ......, where languages are used on daily basis.

I feel myself highly motivated to be your trainee in order to put into practice what I have learnt and to learn more through assisting in every work task in which I could be useful.
