Chumscrubbers

Yesterday, I saw the film The Chumscrubber. Today, MSNBC told me that a teacher asked his students to say what they know and feel about pornography, and that parents and other teachers and administrators rebelled against that. What's wrong with that?
If we don't ask, we don't know. That the chumscrubber film had to be a comedy to be produced is a dreadful shame. Children die every day because parents and other educators don't care enough to listen to them.

I don't know what that teacher's motives was, but I know that detractors of the assignment are detractors of understanding our children.

They are promoters of ignoring our children, letting them go to hell outside our hand baskets.

  • But that requires a lot of hard work and commitment and sometimes it even cuts into their TV time.
  • So, instead, they like to pretend that the dangers just don't exist, unless someone reminds them otherwise, in which case they'll picket and protest until the reminder goes away.
