A chronograph may refer to a 'whole watch' or it can also refer to the inside of the watch?

A chronograph has to be able to tell you the time. I guess that if you don't have the whole watch that would not be the case, unless only the strap or glass is missing.

A chronograph has to be able to tell you the time. I guess that if you don't have the whole watch that would not be the case, unless only the strap or glass is missing.
