Chronicles of Narnia

I wanted to see it but it was fully booked, so I went and saw: "A History of Violence"...

What about the book? I want to start reading it. Is anybody going to join me?

I realy wonder that film. The trailer looks interesting. Has anybody seen it?

I am pretty much into fantasy films/books and when I watched the trailer I supposed the Chronicles to be a "must see" but now I'm not sure anymore. Some friends said it was a disney production made for children?!

Hopefully anyone has already watched it and can share his opinion...

I watched Narnia, and yeah, it's definitely made for kids. I really didn't like it...I'd give you details but since none of you have seen it yet I won't spoil anything for you. Although, in my opinion it's bad enough that spoiling it wouldn't hurt.

I've never read the series. Do you think they have a strong religious theme, like some said they do?

Is it bad even to eyes of a kid? Though I'm not a kid, but I usually watch and enjoy children movies and animations. But if you say that it is not that good, I'll wait for the DVD release and rent it!

Erm...it's slightly amusing and has some nice special effects, with a scattering of cheesy lines...I think a kid (or a person who enjoys kid movies) would like it. But I would say wait for the DVD to come out.
