Choosing the correct tense.
Are the following correct?
1. He has___the work. Begun?
2. I have___many fishes in that stream. Caught?
3. Yesterday he___late to school. came?
4. I have__my pencil. broke or broken?
5. The flag was ____ at dawn. Raised? ==
1. The____ job was endangerd because he flogged a child.
teacher's ------- should the word be teacher' or teachers?
2. You must give two weeks noticed when you resign from a job.
Is the word weeks correct or should I use week's or weeks'?
3. We thought those books were the Smith's.

In your first collection, all five of your answers are correct - but note that in question 2, the plural of "fish" is "fish", not "fishes". In your second collection, the blank space in 1 should be "teacher's", although in my view the word "endangered" should be replaced with the phrase "over, permanently, after having been quite rightly sent to prison for a very long time" (flogging children being a criminal offence in most jurisdictions on Earth). 2.

I have tidbits on a couple of points.
(2) 'Fish' can be 'fishes' when the intention is to signify the different classifications of fish. 'How many fish (number of fish) are in the sea?' versus, 'How many fishes (types of fish) are in the sea?'

On Smith: If the family name is Smith, I'd use Smith's to mean-- the Smith family. If the context was mor
