Choosing the correct sentence and WHY

Hi Tutor,

How should I apply these 2 questions in a right grammatical order.

Question 1

1)your face muscle moved because of nervous

2)your face muscle moved because of nervousness

I know that the 2nd sentence sounds better, but can you describe why and even for the 1st one.

1) I'm planning of going to singapore to work

2) I'm planning to go to singapore to work

which is the correct sentence and can you please explain why.thxs
