Choosing the best dictionary

Hello,

I wonder what is the best dictionary for English learners. I have been using Oxford advanced learner's dictionary, but I noticed that it's definitions are sometimes very simple and short.

For example, other dictionaries give much more information about the word meretricious in comparison to Oxford dictionary.

What dictionary would you recommend?

Oxford dictionary is very popular, but I prefer electronics dictionery. This is very helpful for learner.

In the UK, the Oxford dictionary is popular. My own favourite "paper" dictionary is Chambers

Electronically, I usually look at dictionary.com
