Choosing a proper answer!

Please look at the following question.
Q. Would you like some help with that box?
(A) I can manage , thanks
(B) Not the top , the bottom
(C) Sure , I 'll help you

The correct answer is (A) I can manage,thanks. Could you tell me why (C) sure,I'll help you can't be the correct answer?

The person carrying the box is likely to say A, but why would he say C? It makes no sense. C would be an answer to a question like eg Can you help me with this box, please?

The person carrying the box is likely to say A, but why would he say C?
In other words, why would the person carrying the box answer the question by offering to help someone else?It makes no sense.

C would be an answer to a question like

I offer to help you.
You reply that you will help me!

Or like this:
