choice or choices?

hi guys - could someone please tell me which is correct:

1) Below, I have listed my three choices of work preference.

2) Below, I have listed my three choices of work preferences.

These sentences really don't sound grammtically correct. Is there not a slight bit of redundancy in these sentences? i.e. choice and preference are sort of the same thing??
thanks

By 'work', do you mean 'job'? If so, you might use the latter, or a word like 'employment'.
