Choice of words or word choice

Hi,

Is it 'word choice' or 'choice of words' ?

And if I used a SINGLE verb tense in a conversion and the other person wanted to compliment on my good 'choice of a verb tense' or ' good choice of verb tense' or would it still be 'good choice of verb tenses' ?

Thanks
