Choice of words

Hello!

I have got a short question I have just been doing an exercise for the Cambridge First Certificate and I don't know the answer to two sentences. Could you please help me and tell me which of the four words are correct to complete the following sentences? (It's a text about James Dean):

Television and theatre work followed, and Dean became highly LOVED/ADORED/RESPECTED/WORSHIPPED within the industry.

It was his death at such a young age, and the rebellious roles he played in films "Rebel without a Cause" and "East of Eden", rather than his off-screen CONDITION / BEHAVIOUR / QUALITY / PERFORMANCE, that have made him a legend.

Thank you very much in advance.
