Choice between simple present and present progressive

Hi,

Are the following sentences interchangeable? I am not sure whether the simple present or the present progressive makes more sense in such a situation.

2. Maybe you can tell me the mistakes I am doing in saying those words.

3. Maybe you can tell me the mistakes I do when I say those words.

Thanks,

Hi,
