Chk my grammar

After testing with John and Mary, the ABC restaurant will be designated for the farewell dinner to Peter on 5 Sep at 08:00pm.

Background: John and Mary have tried out the food of the restaurant and make sure it is acceptable.

After testing by John and Mary, the ABC restaurant will be used for Peter's farewell dinner on 5 Sept at 8pm Testing with is not correct, testing by would be grammatically correct but it doesn't sound as natural to me.

The food was tested by John and Mary but 'John and Mary was tested food' is grammatically incorrect. You need to say 'John and Mary tested food'.

purposefully - I can see why you want to use that to mean 'for the purpose of', but that is not its meaning. When you do something purposefully it means that you do it 'with determination, firmly,

I wouldnt say that anyone "tested food" I would simply state that the restaurant for consideration has been checked out by some co workers. The quality of the food and service was found to be more than acceptable. Based on this we have made the decision to hold "such and such" dinner there in the future.
