China exports toys and clothes in large quantities to all the Western countries.

Hello.

Today I saw this sentence:

China exports toys and clothes in large quantities to all the Western countries.

Is it grammatically correct? Especially:
1) Is 'in large quantities' correct and 'large' not redundant? Here https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/in%20quantity I found that 'in quantity' itself means 'in large amounts'.
2) Should 'Western' be written with a capital W?
3) Why did the author put 'the' before 'Western countries'?
