"Children of Zion": with or without "The"?

We have an art project starting and are considering a somewhat biblical name for it along the lines of "Children of Zion". Should we include "The" in the beginning? Or rather, what is the difference in the meaning of

1) The Children of Zion, and

2) Children of Zion?
