Chicken back. Is it cheap?
hello,
I suppose this isn't an English-related question but at the same time, I suppose your guess is better than mine. So please let me post this question here.
The newspaper was fished out of trash cans, section by section, and I was always on the lookout for a good chicken-back recipe.
As you can see, the character is broke, but I'm wondering why he mentions specifically "chicken-back" here. Is it cheap in the U.S?
