(chess) rating

Hi.

What's the difference between 'a rating of 2500' and 'the rating 2500' and 'a 2500 rating'?

Thanks in advance

In contexts that I can think of, "a 2500 rating" would be understood to mean the same as "a rating of 2500", but the latter is probably normally a better way of saying it. "the rating 2500" may work in some contexts with the same meaning, but seems generally inferior.
