CHEMISTRY: CAN ESTER BE USED IN CLOTHES MAKING

i m quite puzzle in the usage of "Ester" that i learn in chemistry subject. I would like to ask t whether can ester be used in clothes making?

I guess you have a bit of a problem with esters themselves, let alone polyesters(polymers of esters).

An ester is formed when an organic acid (R-COOH) and an alcohol (HO-R') react in presence of concentrated sulphuric acid to give (R-COO-R') + water. R and R' denote alkyl groups.

To form a polyester, you need acids and alcohols that can link to two other molecules. the acids are
