It's "cheery fact."

It doesn't mean much of anything. Facts are usually considered very dull. To call them "cheery" is incongruous, and therefore humorous.

I'm reminded of the old Gilbert and Sullivan line in one of their songs, "And many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse." (It has a great rhythm to it, don't you think?)
