Hi, It's British slang. It's very, very commonly used there, with very loosely defined meanings. eg Hello eg Good-bye eg said as a toast when dinking with someone eg Thank you Perhaps someone currently living in Britain can comment more fully.

Probably not when you're in the U.S. We're not familiar with all the usages here.

Ok. It's good. Because I'm learning American English right now and I think it's more better for me. And I like American English more than British 'cause I think it's easy especially with the accent.
