Checking the context errors.

This is one paragraph that one of my friend has written. Could anyone please check the context and fix its errors?

This is the context:

As human life is evolving day by day, consumption of energy is also increasing with the same rate or we can say it more. All the factors of life from birth till death surrounded by energy. But nowadays sources of conventional energy are getting lesser and lesser therefore people are trying different alternates using method of conservation of energy form conventional sources which are also echo friendly too and easily available. Our project is based on energy generated, which is eco-friendly project as it doesn’t need any type of fuel or produces any type of by product. When flow of traffic passes over speed breakers usually energy get wasted. Techniques which is being used here is to utilize that energy through rank and pinion mechanism in which potential energy of traffic can be converted into mechanical energy through moving shafts which is connected to an electricity generators. This makes speed breaker a power generating unit. This method can save energy. Energy which is saved from this can be utilized in many different things like street lights, traffic signal and many other purposes.
