Checking a paragraph

Hello!

Could you please check my paragraph below? How would you say the following sentences in natural or/and in real English?

I suppose I've begun realising that I really enjoyed my Literature classes during my college years. So I still go back to my notes and stories ( or story books? ) by Maeve Binchy and Edith Marton. ... I may sound quite weird because I cannot give you one good reason why I feel so, but whenever I read 'Roman Fever', I vividly remember you / your vivid image appears in my mind / in my heart.
