00This study is an ethnography research of the Japanese Peruvian living in 010200, searching to find the keys that allow us to have a better understanding of their present cultural and social status, enclosed in an immigrational context. The study shows how Japanese Peruvians have articulate an ethnic network within their social environment, creating a community of fluently relationship and a facilitative cultural system based on the force of their ethnic background. The purpose is to document the consequences of the migration process within the Peruvian community and the struggle of assimilation or not to the Japanese society. Thus, the central focus of the study is the family unit, as a place where family negotiation and responses to migration experiences takes action. Peruvian families are facing different problems in current times. The family is changing by adopting new styles of communication among members. I argue that it is the result of their exceeding worries for wage targets, which lead families to the switching of family member roles, and altogether involved in the context of indecision of repatriation or settling in 010200. Since my study focus was to hear the Japanese Peruvian perception of their real conditions and to explore the factors that surround this topic, ethnographic research methods were chosen. I based my study on the 01i00Peruvians in Japan Survey 2006(PEJAS)02i00, making personal interviews and visiting Japanese Peruvian families and ethnic shops as part of participatory observation. I also completed two months fieldwork at the Kubota factory, which allows me to have a better panorama of the daily activities of the Japanese Peruvians. The study demonstrates that for most of them, the possibility of returning migration to the homeland (010200) has been put aside and new family projects has emerged. The Peruvian community will continue durably in 010200, evolving through their ethnic networks accommodation toward their acceptance in the host society. 02br
