Check the grammar of these sentences, please.

Hi teachers,

"Studying history makes students aware of their nation and others. As history is full of actual events, as it would it help them make their own judgment about these events."

Did I use "As" correctly?

Thanks a lot

Moonrise Did I use "As" correctly? The first "as" is possible but the second is wrong. Also, the use of "would" is wrong (doesn't match "makes" in the first sentence).

  • Moonrise Did I use "As" correctly?
  • The first "as" is possible but the second is wrong.
  • Also, the use of "would" is wrong (doesn't match "makes" in the first sentence).
  • The minimum correction would be: "Studying history makes students aware of their nation and others.
  • " However, this still does not read tremendously well, in my opinion.
