Hi teachers

I would appreciate if you could check my sentences

-you should do it as if it were the last time you'd do it

-you should do it as if it were the last time you did it

-you should do it as if it were the last time you do it

I don't know wether they are all correct or not....could anyone help me out on this?

  • In my opinion, only your first example works.
  • The second one is okay, but I don't think it says what you mean.

Hi MR. A. Welcome to English Forums!.

The second one is okay, but I don't think it says what you mean. I take it as, "Do it the same way you did last time."

The last one is not grammatical. One you didn't try is, "You should do it as if it will be your last time."

Best wishes, - A.
