I am trying to write the clues to a quiz and I wish you could check the sentences that describe each animal.
Horse:
It is an animal cowboys ride.
What is this animal that people ride in the rodeos and show off their skills?
Dog:
This is an animal that people raise in their homes.
What is this animal that is a friend to humans and usually barks aloud when a stranger comes?
Kangaroo:
This animal lives in Australia mostly.
What is this animal that hops and carries its babies in its pouch?

This animal has a slippery skin and has no legs.

Would you say the two sentences, of which one is yours, are pretty much saying the same thing from the pretty much the same perspective?

'comes out in the bible' does not work. You could re-phrase this as 'that is mentioned in the bible' and then the sentence works ok.
I'm also not happy with 'this' animal. 'the' animal would be better.
